I love muscle cars, and hot rods. I have, well for as long as I can remember. Growing up, my dad always had some sort of Muscle Car, Classic Car, or Hot Rod. The earliest I remember was a 67 Camaro.
Today, you don't have to have an original vehicle to own any of those. There are now aftermarket companies who make parts, any part you can think of for these things. There are even more and more companies making full sheet metal bodies. All of these parts are cast from the original molds.
So, in essence, you can build an authentic '69 Camaro, from the frame up, with all brand new parts. I think its pretty cool, and it keeps the past alive, in a way.
Anyways, this illustration is to show all of that... the different post marks from 1969 to today, and a 1969 (or 1969/2008?) Camaro.
Drawn in pencil/ scanned, colored in photoshop. Hope you all dig.
